Children in the Wood
The Story
So I took this pic at our local duck pond, when I got home and downloaded them,
I saw what appeared to be a child in the background behind the two girls on the
right side. Is this a ghost or weird lighting and trees?

Analysis

I have to admit, this one startled me as I'm sure it did our photographer when
it popped up on a computer monitor. It appears to be the specter of a little
child in a nightgown watching the kids at play. It's almost a classic ghost
image.
Alas, however, upon investigation I believe that the ghost child is merely plant
material - possibly weeds or a tree trunk - illuminated by the flash of the
camera.
Still, I love this picture even though I don't think there is anything
paranormal happening. The shock value of it is outstanding.
Conclusion
Not a ghost, but very cool.
