Eyes in the Window
The Story
I took this picture back in 2002 at Moundsville West Virginia Penitentary,
while waiting for our ghost tour, me and a friend of mine were just taking pics
outside and I decided to just snap a pic, trying to look inside. It was dark
inside that particular area, I didn't notice anything special about the picture,
until I forwarded it and several others (mostly orbs) to my mother. She
immediately called me freakin out and when I went back to look at the picture, I
saw it. Two eyes, seemingly staring twards the left. Never had it looked at.

Analysis
First of all,
Trina, thank you for sending me the picture and I'll get to my analysis in a
second. What I want to address first is the acknowledgement that orbs are
some sort of spiritual phenomenon as you seemed to indicted in your letter.
This could not be farther from the truth - orbs are one of the biggest scams in
the ghost hunting community and the widespread belief in them is one of the many
things that keeps
parapsychology
from being taken seriously. Orbs are, pure and simple, particles either in
the air or on objects, that are caught in the flash of a camera and illuminated.
They are not ghosts, they are not energy; they are light being reflected, pure
and simple. Pass it along, please!
The eyes that you have indicated look more like they are a reflection in the glass of something behind the camera, perhaps a light source or even the flash being bounced back by a pair of glasses. Using flash against a glass panel will create a number of anomalies from fake apparitions to "orbs" and even this eye effect you seem to have captured. Without knowing more about the location, it's hard to say definitively that this isn't a ghost, but my instincts are pulling me towards that conclusion.
