Guardian Angels
The Story

Hi,
This is a photo of me (the little girl on the left) and my family in spain 2003.
The photo was taken outside the bar, and once developed we were all perplexed as
to what the ghostly images are in the photo, yet all the other photo's turned
out perfect. I like to believe it's my gaurdian angel looking out for me, but I
always wondered is it really anything unusual or is it just lighting or a faulty
camera?
Analysis
Before January of 2011 when they passed some of the strictest anti-smoking laws in Europe, Spain was a very tobacco friendly nation as bars and restaurants were often places to find great food, fine wine, and clouds of cancer-causing smoke.
It appears from the photo that there are ashtrays on at least one of the tables and, being an outdoor bar, it's not hard to imagine someone simply walking by puffing on a poison stick (Why yes, I do hate smoking. Why do you ask?)
Conclusion
Cigarette smoke.
