The Odd Lake Galilee Photo
The Story
Hello, you got some nice work done here.
I fell on your page accidentaly, and I'm sending you a picture I have for some
years now. Here's the story:I am from Greece. Many Orthodox Christians of Greece,
go to the Holy Places to walk on the paths Jesus walked etc. There is this lady,
that had this trip, and got a picture of the Galilee lake. When the picture was
printed this was the result. The info I have about this picture, is that the lady
had a usual old film camera, but I don't know if it was color.I suppose it
was.The picture I have is from the original negative, but I don't have a scanner
to scan it, so I just got a picture of it.Mind the yelowish marks on the lower
part of the pic, it's light reflection. Please tell me what you think.Feel free
to ask anything you need.
Thank you, Panagiotis.

Analysis
Well, there is one thing for sure and that is that this is an odd picture. Someone with religious inclinations might look at it and think, "Oh hey! It's Jesus and his disciples," but someone a little more pragmatic might look at it and say, "Oh look... actors!"
Given that Panagiotis wasn't on hand to see the picture taken in the first place, it's not remotely outside the realm of possibility that the picture taker simply took a snapshot of costumed actors playing it up for the tourists or perhaps even just a painting that happened to be hanging in a hotel or restaurant.
That's the trouble with taking this kind of information second hand -- sometimes others are so desperate to spread their beleifs that they will lie about things like this.

Conclusion
Not Jesus... just someone who plays him on TV.
