Something at Tantallon Castle
The Story

Hi Jason, my father took this Pic at Tantallon Castle (Yet another one!)-As
you can clearly see there is a mysterious “Something” That appears to be either
sitting or Peering over the ruined window. It could be a bird, but then again I
am not sure. My father took another picture of the same spot and it shows
nothing. This window I believe is in the ruined Douglas tower, which is were the
lord and lady of the castle lived.

Analysis
It's a little hard to tell since there is nothing to hint at the scale of this opening, but when the image was blown up, colors enhanced, and blurry edges sharpened, the actual shape of this mysterious figure become more apparent and we can see that sometimes first instincts are the ones that should be trusted.
Conclusion
It's a pigeon.
