Unexplained Lights
The Story
On Halloween night 2007 my husband and I went to Port Arthur in Tasmania
Australia and went on a ghost tout there. this is a series of photos I took in
the doctors quarters, the room was completely dark and I took the photos without
a flash. I just snapped a few times and moved the camera a little as I took the
next. these were all from the same room taken seconds apart. as you see on one
of the photos there is a tick of light across the corner of the frame. I don't
know what it is but I can assure you there was no light in the room at the
time..

Analysis
A
picture like this is next to impossible to analyze as there are no frames of
reference and, even when the properties of the picture are adjusted, next to
nothing is revealed.
It's impossible for me to say that this is the result of a ghost, but I can shed some "light" on what it might be. While Linda says that there were no lights in her location, she did say that she was moving the camera a little between shots. If a distant light or a camera light from another visitor happened to flash on while her camera was moving, it would cause the trail of light as the shutter opened (since the shutter would stay open a long time in such dark conditions).
There are several other explanations: fireflies, laser pointers... you name it.
Conclusion
With such a dark picture, it would be irresponsible of me to say this is a ghost.
